Tender Eligibility Calculator — Similar Works (40% / 50% / 80%) & Turnover
CPWD-style tenders usually require experience of similar works completed in the last seven years: three works each costing at least 40% of the estimated cost, or two works of at least 50%, or one work of at least 80%. Many also require an average annual turnover for the last three years.
Older works are usually brought to today's prices by adding a simple percentage per year. Enter your completed works and turnover to see which criterion you meet.

How this is worked out
Each work's value is brought to today's level with simple interest: value × (1 + rate × years since completion), as in CPWD's eligibility clause. Only works finished within the look-back window are counted.
Tenders also ask for things this tool can't check — a completion certificate for each work, solvency, registration class and similar nature of work. Keep those in Documents and your portfolio.
Frequently asked questions
What are the similar work eligibility criteria in CPWD tenders?
Commonly: three similar works each of at least 40% of the estimated cost, or two similar works each of at least 50%, or one similar work of at least 80%, completed during the last seven years. The tender notice states the exact criteria and what counts as 'similar'.
How are old works updated to current prices for eligibility?
Tender documents usually let you increase the value of each completed work by a simple rate (often 7% per year) from its completion date to the bid date. Use the rate given in your tender.
Figures are for planning. The conditions in your tender document or contract always take precedence.
